The context
In recent legislation on this matter, the government has committed itself to stimulating Belgians to use the internet thereby increasing the competitiveness of companies. It's for this reason that employers are now being offered an advantageous tax incentive when they offer their employees a private internet connection. Internet for Employees is designed with these tax breaks in mind.

 

Fiscal consideration
The employer offers the employee an internet connection for use at home. This private internet access is considered a taxable perk which is fixed at 60 euros per year.

You administer and control your Internet for Employees project online
Once the project is initiated, you receive a login and password which give you access to a personalized, web-based control panel.

 

This administration tool allows you to compose a list of the employees who will benefit from the project, and to identify them according to their phone numbers. You are also able to add or delete any of the beneficiaries on your list.

 

With each new introduction, a notification of receipt is sent to your email address.

 

The Internet for Employees services is then either activated or disactivated within 3 working days.
